Climate Change Finally in Reach of its True Goal

SUMMARY OF THE BANGKOK CLIMATE CHANGE TALKS

According to the National Committee Against the U.N. Takeover & Citizens United for American Sovereignty & Freedom Alliance:

In the One-World Government the following will occur:

1. Our military will be under the UN control. Our military will be brought before UN judges and court system.
ICC...International Criminal Court. ICC consists of U.S. hating judges who meet in European courtrooms.
2. UN will tax our pension, travel, use of oil & electricity, phone calls overseas, and imported consumer goods or other words a World IRS
3. UN will control the ocean's resources. Through the Law of the Sea Treaty, UN will start taxing Americans for oil drilling and mineral extraction and even start telling the U.S Navy where it can & can't go.
4. UN will abolish the death penalty in America
5. UN will open up America's borders to illegal aliens & potential terrorists.
6. UN wants the terrorists at Guantanamo Bay freed and allowed to live in the USA.
7. The Global New Deal....as the UN international welfare program. It is modeled after the New Deal of Franklin Roosevelt. The Global New Deal would provide the equivalent of food stamps & welfare checks to every Third World country. It would also establish a socialist health care plan for every person on the face of the earth.
8. An Environmental Regulation Agency....UN will "negotiate" a Climate Change Treaty in Copenhagen. China, India, Brazil and Pakistan will be exempted from the treaty, American industry will be at a huge disadvantage and will cost American workers their jobs.

I've also received information from a trusted source that:

On 12/6/08 CGS Obama transition team Meetings:

Eric Schwarts is in charge of the US/UN transition team & also handles multilateral issues for the National Security Policy team.

1st meeting was with a delegation from the Partnership for Effective Peacekeeping (PEP) and the next was with members of the Washington Working Group on the International Criminal Court (WICC is a coordination group of the Washington base organizations committed to ICC) Citizens for Global Solutions play a lead role in both of these coalitions.

Our objective was to give the incoming administration pragmatic objectives that could be accomplished during a 4 yr. term on our issues.

For the PEP briefing 7 priorities were discussed:
1. Pay down nearly $1.6 billion in U.S. arrears to the UN & request Congress permanently lift the cap on U.S. dues to U.N. peacekeeping

2. Balance the inequity between UN Security Council mandates & the resources provided to support those mandates

3. Work with DPKO. Increase US peacekeeping participation & leadership by putting more blue helmets on US troops.

4. Include conflict prevention & civilian protection as fundamental pillars of the U.S. foreign policy

5. Voluntarily restrict the use of the U.S veto in the Security Council in situations involving genocide, major war crimes & major crimes against humanity.

6. Support the expansion of the UN Dept. of Political Affairs to enable it to more effectively respond to emerging crises.

7 Stand up the Civilian Response Corps with dedicated staffing & request funding for a Conflict Response Fund

For the WICC meeting we shared 3 priorities:

1. Reinstating the US signature to the ICC treaty (which was unsigned by Pres. Bush & John Bolton)

2. Constructive U.S. participation in the ICC's governing body, the Assembly of State Parties in preparation for the ICC's 2010 Review Conference.

3. Expanding, deeping & further formalizing the official channel of US cooperation with the Court so that we can help bring to justice the those responsible for atrocities in Darfur, the Congo, Uganda & other cases the ICC is involved in.

Religious Freedom Being Threatened

Elder Dallin H. Oaks, an apostle for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints said religious freedom is being threatened by societal forces intimidating those with religious points of view from having a voice in the public square.

Elder Oaks made the comments while addressing to Brigham Young University-Idaho students on the importance of preserving the religious freedoms guaranteed by the United States Constitution.

He said we should not be deterred or coerced into silence by threats. “We must insist on our constitutional right and duty to exercise our religion, to vote our consciences on public issues, and to participate in elections and debates in the public square and the halls of justice.” He also offered five suggestions:
  • Speak with love and show patience, understanding and compassion to those with differing viewpoints.
  • Do not be deterred or coerced into silence by intimidation from opponents, insisting that churches and their members be able to speak out on issues without retaliation.
  • Insist on the freedom to preach the doctrines of their faith.
  • Be wise in political participation, remaining respectful of those who do not share their religious beliefs and contributing to reasonable discussion.
  • Be careful to never support or act on the idea that a person must subscribe to a specific set of religious beliefs in order to qualify for public office.
“Religious values and political realities are so interlinked in the origin and perpetuation of this nation that we cannot lose the influence of Christianity in the public square without seriously jeopardizing our freedoms,” Elder Oaks concluded. “I maintain that this is a political fact, well qualified for argument in the public square by religious people whose freedom to believe and act must always be protected by what is properly called our ‘First Freedom,’ the free exercise of religion.”

This message is particularly important today as 2009 elections are right around the corner, and many are already in full campaign mode for the 2010 elections.

Conservative vs. Liberal Mentality.

If a conservative doesn’t like guns, he doesn`t buy one, but recognizes the constitutional right of others to own them.
If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed; followed by knives.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn`t eat meat.
If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how best to defend against his enemies.
A liberal tries to talk their way out of it, or wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.

If a conservative practices homosexuality, he quietly leads his personal life.
If a liberal flaunts it in front of everyone while demanding legislated respect.

A conservative understands that sex is a private adult matter.
A liberal thinks young kids need to explore their sexuality.

If a person of color is conservative, they see themselves as independently successful.
Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation; turning to his friends and local community for temporary support.
A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him, and thinks he deserves a bailout from the Federal government.

If a conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those they don’t like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it’s a foreign religion, of course!)

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his and all the other poor people who can't or won't pay for it.

If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed.
If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues.

If a conservative reads this, he'll send the link to his friends so they can have a good laugh.
A liberal will delete it because he's "offended".

TacoMaria - 2000 Tacoma v6 4x4

After selling the 2007 FJC (Negro) I bought a 2000 Tacoma v6, SR5, 4x4, manual hubs, automatic, and in great need of some TLC. The plan is to use it as my daily driver (a lot cheaper then the FJC was, or so I though it would be at first got it for about half of the listed NADA value at the time), but I also plan to take it off-road a few times a year on some moderate trails.

I knew from my initial inspection that the suspension need to be replaced, the tires were cheap but appeared usable, the windshield had to be replaced, the engine needed a tune up, and the exhaust was a bit rusty.

I didn't take long before realizing that the engine was bad; it kept consuming coolant and over heating after about 30 minutes of driving. It turned out that one of the cylinder walls was cracked, so about $3k latter, and another $3k for suspension parts, wheels and tires, I was finally ready to start building up the truck during the 2009 Thanksgiving holiday.

Things I've done:
  • Suspension - Toytec coilovers, Blistin rear shocks, Wheelers Off-road Leaf Springs and accessories, Downey Shackles, new break lines, and some other miscellaneous accessories.
  • Electrical - Aftermarket Taillights, Stereo, HAM & CB radios, and wiring for an extra fuse box to run all the extra electrical add-ons.
  • Wheels & tires - Wheelers off-road black steal wheels, and some slightly used Goodyear MTR's 285/75/16.
  • Got an alignment, finished Hooking up the CB and HAM radios, Hooked up the GPS mount, and re-attached the factory skid plate. All just before heading out to the 2010 Lonestar Toyota Jamboree.
What it needs soon:
  • The throttle needs to be looked at as it stuck on me the one time I floored it, but I still have the original, so worse case I just need to swap them (hopefully). For not I disconnected the aftermarket cruse control someone had put in it, and I haven't had the problem again since.
  • The HAM radio still isn't functioning properly. I may need to relocate the antenna and make sure it's grounded properly.
Here's my current wish list:
  • Exhaust replacement (mostly it's missing a Cat. - Probably just get a generic cat and weld it in place for now). The Y-pipe that was with the engine from the 4runner doesn't exactly match the flange to the rest of the exhaust system, and I believe it's causing vibration noises just above 2000 RPM.
  • The seats are well warn and need to be replaced.
  • Alarm system with Keyless entry (I'm not used to having manual locks) and remote start (since I've been banished from my garage now that it's filling up with kid stuff).
  • Secondary battery so i don't run down the primary with all the extras lights and stuff I'll end up putting on it (and maybe a winch some day).
  • Rock-rails, tube bumpers, and in bed tire carrier (maybe a tool box in the bed as well).
  • Off-road Lights
  • Re-gear & re-build the axles (4.88s lockers, wheel bearings, armor, etc).
  • Someday I'd like to supercharge it if I ever find myself with a bunch of extra money to wast.
  • Hopefully the transmission will hold up for a while, though it was way way over due for a fluid change when I first got it.
  • More stuff as I think of it....

Not Commanded to Save the Constitution?

"Should it be of concern to us when the mouthpiece of the Lord keeps constantly and consistently raising his voice of warning about the loss of our freedom as he has over the years? There are two unrighteous ways to deal with his prophetic words of warning: you can fight them or you can ignore them. Either course will bring you disaster in the long run.

Hear his words: “No greater immediate responsibility rests upon members of the Church, upon all citizens of this Republic and of neighboring Republics than to protect the freedom vouchsafed by the Constitution of the United States.” (Cited in Jerreld L. Newquist, Prophets, Principles and National Survival [SLC: Publishers Press, 1964], p. 157.) As important as are all other principles of the gospel, it was the freedom issue which determined whether you received a body. To have been on the wrong side of the freedom issue during the war in heaven meant eternal damnation. How then can Latter-day Saints expect to be on the wrong side in this life and escape the eternal consequences? The war in heaven is raging on earth today. The issues are the same: “Shall men be compelled to do what others claim is for their best welfare” or will they heed the counsel of the prophet and preserve their freedom?

Satan argued that men given their freedom would not choose correctly therefore he would compel them to do right and save us all. Today Satan argues that men given their freedom do not choose wisely; therefore a so-called brilliant, benevolent few must establish the welfare government and force us into a greater socialistic society. We are assured of being led into the promised land as long as we let them put a golden ring in our nose. In the end we lose our freedom and the promised land also. No matter what you call it—communism, socialism, or the welfare state—our freedom is sacrificed. We believe the gospel is the greatest thing in the world; why then do we not force people to join the Church if they are not smart enough to see it on their own? Because this is Satan's way not the Lord's plan. The Lord uses persuasion and love."

. . .

The devil knows that if the elders of Israel should ever wake up, they could step forth and help preserve freedom and extend the gospel. Therefore the devil has concentrated, and to a large extent successfully, in neutralizing much of the priesthood. He has reduced them to sleeping giants. His arguments are clever.

Here are a few samples:

First: “We really haven't received much instruction about freedom,” the devil says . . .

Second: “You're too involved in other church work,” says the devil . . .

Third: “You want to be loved by everyone,” says the devil, “and this freedom battle is so controversial you might be accused of engaging in politics.” . . .

Fourth: “Wait until it becomes popular to do,” says the devil, “or, at least until everybody in the Church agrees on what should be done.” . . .

Fifth: “It might hurt your business or your family,” says the devil . . .

Sixth: “Don't worry,” says the devil “the Lord will protect you, and besides the world is so corrupt and heading toward destruction at such a pace that you can't stop it, so why try.” . . .

And now as to the last neutralizer that the devil uses most effectively—it is simply this: “Don't do anything in the fight for freedom until the Church sets up its own specific program to save the Constitution.” This brings us right back to the scripture I opened with today—to those slothful servants who will not do anything until they are “compelled in all things.” [D&C 58:26] Maybe the Lord will never set up a specific church program for the purpose of saving the Constitution. Perhaps if he set one up at this time it might split the Church asunder, and perhaps he does not want that to happen yet for not all the wheat and tares are fully ripe.

The Prophet Joseph Smith declared it will be the elders of Israel who will step forward to help save the Constitution, not the Church. And have we elders been warned? Yes, we have. And have we elders been given the guide lines? Yes indeed, we have. And besides, if the Church should ever inaugurate a program, who do you think would be in the forefront to get it moving? It would not be those who were sitting on the sidelines prior to that time or those who were appeasing the enemy. It would be those choice spirits who, not waiting to be “commanded in all things,” [D&C 58:26] used their own free will, the counsel of the prophets and the Spirit of the Lord as guidelines and who entered the battle “in a good cause” [D&C 58:27] and brought to pass much righteousness in freedom's cause.

. . .

Brethren, if we had done our homework and were faithful, we could step forward at this time and help save this country. The fact that most of us are unprepared to do it is an indictment we will have to bear. The longer we wait, the heavier the chains, the deeper the blood, the more the persecution and the less we can carry out our God-given mandate and world-wide mission. The war in heaven is raging on earth today. Are you being neutralized in the battle?"

- Ezra Taft Benson (Not Commanded in All Things; General Conference, Tuesday Afternoon Session, April 1965)
